The light in winter is always quite special and when it’s not raining and overcast is wonderful to capture. Current work and studio experiments are being led by thoughts and ideas around place. Contrasts between outdoor and indoor space. Ideas around restriction, isolation and displacement.

Right now I feel fortunate to feel like making and creating. Quite a few ideas are bubbling away and this is a time to explore, read, make and photograph. Studio explorations have involved collage, adding, subtracting and pulling apart. Quite cathartic activities in fact.
